WORKSHOP ON WOMEN'S DAY

The International Women's Day is celebrated everywhere across the world. Pragyata Foundation yet again came forward for woman upliftment and organised a workshop by reaching Aaganwadi women. The knowledge for their overall growth was given and provided solution for their different issues by expert Ms. Jyoti Punia and her psychologic team members (Adhyatm Sadhana Kendra, Chattarpur). Also various sentiments were expressed and counseled. Women should have nurturing principle for right living. She needs right knowledge to empower herself so that growth can be seen in all dimensions of life and she could create her individuality. Awareness was raised about their physical, psychological well-being and welfare. Issues as small as of regrets, negative thoughts and the major ones like depression, stress were addressed with suggested solutions. Before the culmination of the event, snacks and refreshments were distributed to the women. Indeed, it is rightly said that when you educate a man, you educate an individual, but when you educate a women, you educate an entire family. It is this motto that serves as our guiding principle in achieving the goals we desire to achieve.

We are grateful to collaborate with Mr. Omar Hafiz a well known Development Practitioner and a leader in training youth on development front for various life skills required to live a prosperous life. To this end, a workshop series was conducted across Kashmir Valley in different schools. This workshop series aimed at capacity building and conflict management.
